April A-Z: Xenophile

Unlike a xenophobe, who fears and often hates other peoples and cultures, a xenophile is someone who loves foreign cultures, traditions, and lifestyles. Despite my frequent jokes about the former colonies, I fall into the latter category. I love everything foreign. I love foreign music, foreign food, and, more often than not, the foreigners themselves. I consider myself a citizen of the world, and I've rarely encountered a country whose history and culture I didn't adore and want to know more about.

So here's to Earth! Skål!
