Wow, this is a bit of an incendiary topic for me. I hate mainstream music. I simply despise it. Do I listen to it? Yes, sometimes. Do I even like some of it, sometimes? Yes, I do. But I absolutely hate how the market is completely and utterly dominated by American music. I dare you to find a Top 40 chart that doesn't have Rihanna or Pitbull on it before that country's home-grown, better music.
But, hey, maybe it's just me.
