April A-Z Challenge: Blossoms, Buds, and Blooms; Also Ballottement

Take a deep breath.... Ah, Spring! (In the Northern Hemisphere at least. Not sure what the colonials are doing down South.) This time of year, when the first flowers are just starting to peek out from under the soil, when the leaves on the trees are green and young, when the rain showers roll in to help chase away the last traces of Winter, has always been my favorite.
